17 Jan

What we did:

  •  Quote: “Never write about a place until you’re away from it, because it gives you perspective.  Immediately after you’ve seen something you can give a photographic description of it and make it accurate.  That’s a good practice, but it isn’t creative writing.” -Ernest Hemingway
  • Discussion on how to give good advice with the first round of stories
  • NOTE: If you would like for me to print your project for the class, I am happy to do so, but you need to get it to me at least one day before the project is due so that I have time to print it.  (So if your work is due on Tuesday, you need to email it to me by Monday.)

What you need to get:

  •  A copy of “Auntie Mara’s Writing Advice”

What you need to do:

What is due?:

  • Revisions of Group One’s Work: Due January 29th
  • Group Two: Have 16 copies in by January 24th
  • Keep working on your ongoing assignments (Credo, Author Response, 100 pages)
